Synopsis:

Larraitz is a 16 year old girl. She lives with her parents and her two brothers, but the relationship between them is not very good. The story begins at school. Larraitz is disappointed because she thinks the schedules are bad and the teacher can’t stand them. She has begun to separate from his gang of friends, because everyone has chosen arts and she didn’t. When the school finishes she goes home and in the afternoon she doesn’t go out, because she stays with Martin. She met Martin a few weeks earlier in a demonstration. Larraitz feels something for Martin but she doesn’t know what it is. They left Martin’ s house and went along the mountain road. Larraitz didn’t know where he was going but she felt safe because he was next to Martin. On the way, next to each other, holding hands… they went and suddenly kissed. Everything was going well but when they got to the road , they saw the Lands Rovers of the Spanish police parked. Then, they bent down and hid in the grass. They heard a car coming and saw that the police had stopped the car and shot inside. Frightened, they fled and went to Martin’s house without saying what she had seen and asked him to leave his house. Larraitz didn’t understand why he was being treated so badly. The next day she saw the news in the newsstand and saw that what the magazines published was not true, that it was not the fault of the coachmen, but of the police. Weeks passed, she knew nothing about Martin, so she decided to call his mother’s house saying she had a job. But Martin’s mother told something she didn’t expect, Martin spends a few days at his girlfriend’s house. When she heard this she became very sad. One of these days she met Martin and his girlfriend and they both took a big surprise. Martin didn’t want to do anything. She had been thinking for a long time, she wanted to tell what she had seen. To his teacher. She wanted to tell him how her brother was killed. Finallyshe told him, but when she told him he reacted by crying and she felt bad. The next day the teacher went to the girl’s house to tell her to thank him. The teacher knew Larraitz’s condition at home and so he offered her a job at a family bar on the Mediterranean coast to spend the summer.
